Independent Elections: The end of the period of objections to the preliminary lists of candidates for the elections of the Chambers of Commerce

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) announced the end of the period specified for objecting to the preliminary lists of candidates for the elections of the boards of directors of chambers of commerce and representatives of commercial sectors 2022, in accordance with the Chambers of Commerce Law.

The Authority indicated that the total number of objection requests on the preliminary schedules amounted to ( 12) objection requests, (1) one request was accepted, and (11) objection requests were rejected, where the distribution of objection requests to the Chambers of Commerce was as follows:  
Amman Chamber of Commerce (5), Zarqa Chamber of Commerce (1), Aqaba Chamber of Commerce (3), Jerash Chamber of Commerce (2), Russeifa Chamber of Commerce (1).
The Independent Election Commission has published on its website the preliminary lists of candidates for the elections of the boards of directors of chambers of commerce and representatives of the commercial sectors 2022, in addition to an objection request form for the preliminary lists of candidates
