The Jordanian Electoral Institute
About the Institute
The Jordanian Electoral Institute was established in 2020 under the Administrative Organization Regulation of the Independent Election Commission No. (61) of 2020. It is considered a distinguished academic and training institution at both the local and regional levels. The institute aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Enhancing the efficiency of the Commission’s staff, all election workers, those interested in elections, and local and international partners by training, qualifying, and preparing them both scientifically and practically, enabling them to carry out their duties and responsibilities in managing elections and electoral processes.
- Contributing to increasing electoral awareness and working to establish and promote the principles of integrity, fairness, neutrality, transparency, and best practices in elections.
- Conducting scientific research and studies related to the institute’s field of work, documenting them, and publishing them.
