Independent Elections: Accepting the request to regularize the status of the Jordanian Equality Party

The Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission decided to approve the request submitted by the Jordanian Equality Party to regularize its status, after studying the application and verifying that it meets the conditions for  regularizing the conditions stipulated in the law and within the legal period in terms of the number of members, their distribution among the governorates, the percentage of youth and women, and the presence of at least one person with disabilities among the founders.

The Commission stressed that the party must complete the settlement of its situation by holding a general conference that meets the legal conditions and inform the registrar of this before an appropriate period of time before the date of the conference so that the Commission can take the necessary measures to do so.
