Independent Elections: Closing the door for candidacy for the elections of the Chambers of Industry.

Today, Wednesday, the Independent Election Commission announced the  closure  of candidacy for membership in the elections of the boards of directors of chambers of industry and representatives of industrial sectors, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 29/10/2022.  

The total number of applicants for candidacy for the elections of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Industry and representatives of the industrial sectors reached (73) candidates, including (18) for membership of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of Industry and (17) applications for candidacy to represent the industrial sectors, (19) applications for  candidacy  for membership of the Board of Directors of the Zarqa Chamber of Industry and (2) applications for the representation of industrial sectors in it, while (16) applications for membership of the management of the Irbid Chamber of Industry and one application for representation of the industrial sectors in it.     

According to the executive instructions for preparing voters' lists and candidate lists for the election of members of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Industry and representatives of industrial sectors for the year 2022, issued in accordance with Article (10) of the Chambers of Industry Law No. (56) of 2005, the Supervisory Committee decides on the candidacy application accepted or rejected within four days from the date of receiving the candidacy applications from the Chamber of Industry Office
