Approval of the establishment of the Charter Party as soon as it fulfills the conditions

The Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission reviewed the reality of the situation of the National Charter Party and found that the party has fulfilled the conditions for incorporation within the legal period in terms of the number of members, as stipulated in the Parties Law that the number of founding members of the party should be at least one thousand people from the population of at least six governorates, and the percentage ofyoung people between the ages of (18 and 35 years) shall not be less than (20%) of the number of founders, and the percentage of women shall not be less than (20%) of the number of founders. At least one of them shall be a person with disabilities in accordance with the provisions of the law, provided that he completes the correction of his status by holding his founding conference and informing the Authority of the date of this conference.

The Board of Commissioners of the Commission also decided to approve the application for the establishment of (Sama Jordan Democratic Party / under establishment), after reviewing all the documents submitted for the establishment of the party and their conformity with what was stated in Al-QanOne, provided that the rest of the requirements are completed, including the convening of the founding conference of the party within a period not exceedingone year from the date of acceptance of the application for establishment.
