The Independent Election Authority publishes on its website the results of objections to the preliminary voter lists of the Chambers of Industry

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) published on its website the results of objections to the preliminary voter lists for the elections of the boards of directors of chambers of industry and representatives of industrial sectors 2022. This is in accordance with the Chambers of Industry Law promulgated pursuant to articles 13 and 33 of the Chambers of Industry Law No. 10 of 2005.
The total number of objection requests to the preliminary schedules was (36) objection requests, of which (11) applications were accepted, and(25) applications were resolved.
The breakdown of these requests is as follows:
The number of objection requests for the Amman Chamber of Industry reached (16) applications, of which (8) applications were accepted and (8) were rejected.
The number of objection requests in the Irbid Chamber of Industry reached (10) requests, (3) applications were accepted and (7) applications were rejected.
As for the objection requests of the Zarqa Chamber of Industry, there were (10) requests, all of which were rejected.
The Authority has published on its website the preliminary voter lists for the elections of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Industry and representatives of the industrial sectors.
In addition to an objection request form on the preliminary voter lists, which started on 18/9/2022 and continued for 3 days.
It is noteworthy that the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission has set Saturday, 29/10/2022, as the date for voting for the elections of the boards of directors of the Chambers of Industry and representatives of the industrial sectors.
