Maaytah: The practical application of political modernization will enhancethe importance of political participation without fear

Musa Al-Maaytah, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, said that the successful application at the current stage in partisan work and the upcoming elections will be one of the most important opportunities to strengthen youth participation in the future in political work, through youth follow-up to the success of their peers in the elections or their assumption of advanced positions in partisan work, and to provide the most appropriate model for all Jordanian youth.
Al-Maaytah said during a working paper he presented entitled "The Future of Political Parties between Opportunities and Challenges" at the final conference that the "enabling environment for thepromotion of freedoms, democracy and the rule of law", which was organized by the Jordanian Masarat Foundation for Development and Development, said that the most important chances for the success of the work of political parties in Jordan is the wise leadership's adoption of this trend, and the recognition by all state institutions of the importance of shifting towards work The updated laws are also important opportunities, as the law on parties today corrected the course, pushed for strengthening popular participation in general, activating the role of youth and women, and directly stipulating the protection of party work to prevent the continuation of youth fears, while the electoral law and what it witnessed from achieving a permanent party demand for reform par excellence, which is the existence of a party list for one third of the members of the next parliament, is gradually increasing according to the law.
Maaytah stressed that the transfer of the file of political parties to the Independent Election Commission in accordance with the recent constitutional amendments is a clear opportunity to develop partisan work, believing in the neutrality of the Commission and distancing itself from political tensions, and that the participation of all actors in political work in a comprehensive national campaign to enhance party participation contributes to achieving this ambition.
Al-Maaytah said that the practical application of all that is the most important opportunity, when the young man or woman sees his peers have engaged in partisan work and assumed leadership positions, and even became deputies in the next stage, this will be a real practical exercise on the seriousness of the state in development and modernization in general and the shift towards programmatic partisan work.
