Announcement issued by the Independent Election Commission to start accrediting local and international journalists for the elections of chambers of industry and representatives of industrial sectors for the year 2022

The Independent Election Commission announces the opening of accreditation for local and international journalists for the elections of the management of the boards of chambers of industry and representatives of industrial sectors for the year 2022, which are scheduled to be held on 29/10/2022, as follows:
The accreditation of local and international journalists is in accordance with Executive Instructions No. (5) of 2016 issued for this purpose and published on the website of the www.IEC.jo Authority for the period from Tuesday 13/9/2022 until the end of the working hours on Wednesday 19/10/2022.
The Authority invites all journalists, media professionals and workers in local and international audio-visual and print media institutions wishing to participate in the coverage process and who meet the conditions contained in the above-mentioned instructions to visit the Authority's website to view the executive instructions and fill out the approved forms for this purpose.
The Independent Election Commission affirms its keenness to cooperate with media institutions and its endeavor to take all necessary measures to empower journalists and coverall stages of the electoral process in accordance with Jordanian legislation and international best practices.
