Independent Elections: The completion of the first phase of the project to build the capacity of teachers in civic and political education in cooperation with Education and RASED Center

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) announced the completion of the first phase of the project to build the capacity of teachers in civic and political education, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and RASED, which aims to build the capacity of teachers and administrators in the Ministry of Education and educate students in schools about effective political and partisan participation.
According to the media spokesman in the Commission, "Muhammad Khair" Al-Rawashdeh, this project was divided into more than one stage, as the first phase included training (60) teachers, from various directorates in the Ministry of Education, on political modernization, international standards for elections, the electoral law for the year 2022, the effects resulting from the closed party list, and the Parties Law for the year 2022, and they were also trained on a set of training skills and facilitating sessions, and selecting (53) teachers from them, to implement training workshops in the second phase, The method of conducting an evaluation of the performance experiences of each teacher on the last day of the training of trainers course, and after the completion of the training phase, the teachers with the highest evaluation marks, who have the ability to train groups of teachers, were selected.
As for the second phase of the project, it was dedicated to training teachers and administrators in the Ministry of Education, andthis phase aims to train (1776) teachers, and (130) administrators and administrators in the Ministry of Education representing (30) directorates of education in all governorates of the Kingdom, in addition to (53) training groups, who were trained on civic and political education, the electoral law and the parties law for the year 2022.
