The launch of the forum I am participating in the first youth of the students at Yarmouk University.

The activities of the I am participating in the first youth forum for Yarmouk University students, which was organized by the Independent Electoral Commission in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation and the Deanship of Student Affairs, kicked off today at Yarmouk University.
The Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Thiabat said in a speech delivered at the opening that Yarmouk welcomes effective partnerships with all institutions of the local community, both public and private, expressing the University's happiness to hold the activities of this forum within the framework of the I Participate program, which falls within the initiatives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, which aims to support efforts to empower university students and develop an integrated system of skills and abilities that expand their circle of effective political participation and social work, including Achieves the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein in allowing young people to engage in decision-making, promote a sense of citizenship, maximize the concepts of democracy and the values of dialogue, reject the vocabulary of hatred, hatred and regionalism, and accept opinion and other opinions.
Diabat pointed out that the Youth Summer Program 2022 organized by Yarmouk University came with the aim of involving students in an integrated series of active activities, as they were the initiators, organizers and speakers within the utmost freedom and democracy and expressing their views on many issues that concern them and our homeland Jordan. 
For his part, Jihad Momani, a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission, stressed the importance of launching this forum in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation in response to the royal directives and the outputs of the Committee for the Modernization of the Political System, which emphasizes the strengthening of the role of youth and their participation in the political, economic and social fields, pointing out that this forum aims to activate the role of youth and push them to engage in political work, in general and elections in particular and move them from individual work to collective work.
Al-Momani pointed out that the forum "I participate in the first youth", is an opportunity for Jordanian youth to discuss the challenges facing them from a youth point of view, and work to build their capacities through holding interactive training sessions held on the university campus, in addition to enhancing the skills of thinking, dialogue and communication; identifying needs, and reviewing legislation and laws governing political life in Jordan, with the aim of activating political, partisan and electoral participation, respect for diversity and pluralism, and respect for opinion and other opinions.
For her part, Deputy Director of the I Participate Program in the Crown Prince Reem Yaghmour Foundation, said that the launch of the first youth forum of the I Participate / Universities program comes as an embodiment of the working partnership between the Crown Prince Foundation and the Independent Electoral Commission, especially as it targets students at Jordanian universities.
Yaghmour pointed out that the Crown Prince Foundation is working within a strategy that includes three main axes of work, namely; readiness for work, leadership and leadership, and citizenship; stressing that the forum seeks to create a dialogue space between young people at the level of universities, then governorates, and then at the national level, in order to open the door to dialogue to listen to their priorities within political participation, as they see them themselves and as they put them, in order to work to strengthen and build the capacities of the participants in the forum to enable them to develop a policy paper that expresses them. In front of the relevant ministries, bodies, and institutions.
