Independent for Election: Acceptance of the Request to Reconcile the Situation of the New Approach Party

The media spokesman for the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), Mohamed Khair al-Rawashdeh, announced that the IEC Board of Commissioners had decided to consider the New Approach party to have met the requirements for regularizing the situation in terms of the number of founding members and the proportions stipulated in the law.
Al-Rawashdah explained that according to the law, the party must hold its general congress within the legal period; and that the number of founders present in the general conference should not be less than the majority of the founding members.
