The committees supervising the elections of the chambers of industry took the legal oath before the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission after the issuance of the Council's decision to form them by a committee for each chamber of industry in accordance with the criteria of previous experience in electoral affairs and the first university degree in addition to invoking the criteria of efficiency and merit.
After taking the legal oath, the supervisory committees undertake several tasks, the most prominent of which is to audit the schedules of the industrial institutions registered with them and entitled to vote, approve and announce them in the relevant Chamber of Industry, and the committees also scrutinize applications for candidacy for membership in the boards of directors of the chambers of industry and applications for candidacy to represent the industrial sectors, and then ensure the correctness of the election papers and their number, and the supervisory committees monitor the ballot boxes and seal them, and after the end of the ballot, the committees count the votes in the same place and upload the required copies of the minutes The final of the Authority in accordance with the law and providing the Authority with all the requirements and records.
