Independent Elections: Launch of the First Youth "I Participate" Forum

The Independent Electoral Commission, in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation, launched the first "I Participate" Youth Forum, which aims to integrate Jordanian youth in universities in dialogue and public work, in response to the royal directives and the outputs of the Committee for the Modernization of the Political System, part of which revolves around the need to activate the role of youth and their political participation.
The forum also aims to come up with unified recommendations to discuss, develop and implement by various relevant authorities, to provide visions, solutions and perceptions that reflect the interests and priorities of young people on political participation, the rule of law, national identity, party work and other issues, from the youth point of view.
The forum seeks to create a dialogue space between young people at the level of educational institutions in the governorates and the entire country, and to bring together young people with policy makers and other stakeholders, with the aim of opening the door to dialogue to listen to their priorities within political participation, as they see them themselves and as they put them through this space, and exchange ideas to reach innovative solutions that promote political participation, a culture of diversity and respect for the other, and to enhance the capacity building of participants to reach the ability to develop a solution document that expresses them before ministries and bodies. Applications for electronic registration to participate in the forum continue to be received until the end of the official working hours of Thursday, 11/8/2022, and the priority will be in selecting the participants in the forum for graduates of the I Participate program and the fellowship program for the age group (18-25) for both sexes.
