Academic Cooperation Agreement between the Independent Election Officer and the University of Jordan

An academic cooperation agreement was signed today at the IEC building between the IEC and the University of Jordan, signed on behalf of the IEC by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Eng. Musa Al-Maayta, and on behalf of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nazir Obeidat, President of the University.
The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides and exchange all forms of knowledge and administrative support in the academic field, specifically in the Higher Diploma Program in Electoral Policies and Administrations, which contributes to enhancing political life, improving the electoral process, and applying the visions of His Majesty the King through the outputs of the Royal Committee for the Modernization of the Political System.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian Electoral Institute was established with the aim of raising electoral awareness, enhancing the academic and practical dimension based on practice and linking theory and practice, by granting the degree of Higher Diploma in Electoral Politics and providing specialized training courses in electoral work.
