Royal will to appoint Maaita as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission

Under section (6) of the Independent Electoral Commission Act No. (11) 2012, the High Royal Will was issued by appointing the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission from the following those named, as of 5 April 2022:

 1. H.E. Engineer Moussa Habs Musa Al-Maaita, President.

2. Dr. Abir Bashir Sweilem Al-Dabana, member.

 3. Mr. Ammar Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al-Husseini, member.

4. Mr. Jihad Fawaz Odeh Al-Momani, member.

5. Dr. Raed Sami Afash Al-Adwan is a member.

 A Royal Decree was also issued approving the acceptance of the resignation of His Excellency Engineer Musa Habis Musa Al-Maaytah, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, from his position, as of 4/5/2022. A royal decree was issued approving the assignment of His Excellency Mr. Tawfiq Mahmoud Hussein Krishan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Local Administration, to run the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs as of 4/5/2022.
