Independent election: (6) international regulators for the upcoming elections 

January 22, 2022  The Independent Electoral Commission announced the expiry of the time allocated to receiving applications for accreditation to international regulators to monitor the elections of provincial councils, municipal councils and the Amman Secretariat Council scheduled for March. According to the Independent Electoral Commission, the number of international regulators who have applied for accreditation for monitoring of the upcoming elections (6) regulators, with five entities accredited and the sixth still under consideration and research. The Independent Electoral Commission announced the opening of accreditation for international observers to monitor the elections of provincial councils, municipal councils and the Amman Secretariat Council on 7 December 2021 and continued until the end of Saturday, January 22, 2022.
