Independent Election Launches Trainer Training Program 

January 08, 2022  Dr. Awad Al Karadsha, Secretary General of the Independent Electoral Commission, stressed the importance of training in the electoral process, with the knowledge and skills provided by this program to staff with the Authority to implement the proper procedures for the electoral process.  This came during the opening of the training program for trainers launched by the Authority today and will last for two consecutive weeks.  He added that the topics covered by the training, which included preparations before polling day, electoral materials and equipment and components of the supplies box, the delivery of materials and access to polling day, procedures and models for voting day, procedures for closing the box and starting voting, voting cases for persons with disabilities, dealing with damaged papers, models of objections, models of the counting process and simulation of the paper counting record. The karadsha and the training team answered the trainees' questions and inquiries.
