Independent election: (18) local regulators for the upcoming elections 

January 5, 2022  The Independent Electoral Commission announced Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the expiry of the time allocated to receiving applications for accreditation to local regulators to monitor the elections of provincial councils, municipal councils and the Amman Secretariat Council scheduled for March. According to the Independent Electoral Commission, the number of local regulators who have applied for accreditation for monitoring of the upcoming elections (18) is a regulatory body. The Independent Electoral Commission had earlier announced the opening of accreditation for local observers to monitor the month-long elections for provincial councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Secretariat Council.
