Independent Election: Training workshops for volunteer coordinators conclude in constituencies
December 29, 2021 The training workshops held by the Independent Electoral Commission for volunteer coordinators in constituencies concluded today in Aqaba for the elections for provincial councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Secretariat Council, which are scheduled to take place on March 22, 2022. Dr. Awad Al Karadsha, Secretary General of the Authority, stressed during the final workshop, which included the coordinators of the provinces (Aqaba and Man) on the importance and need to have volunteer coordinators in all constituencies, which contributes significantly to spreading awareness of the procedures of the electoral process, and guiding citizens to the ballot boxes so that everyone can exercise their right and participate in the electoral process easily and easily. On the sidelines of the workshop, Karadsha met yesterday with the presidents and members of the election committees in Aqaba province in general, and met this morning with the president and members of the election committee of Aqaba province (Kasbah), where he stressed the distribution and identification of tasks and responsibilities for each member of the election committees, indicating the mechanism of communication between the authority in the main center and election committees and coordinators in the field, in addition to the tasks and responsibilities of volunteers to unify the work procedures on polling day. The Independent Electoral Commission has held a series of meetings in this area that lasted for four consecutive days in the central, north, and south provinces.
