Independent Election holds training workshop for volunteer coordinators in constituencies 

December 26, 2021 The Independent Election Authority held a training workshop for volunteer coordinators in the electoral districts (Central Region) for the elections of provincial councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Secretariat Council, which is scheduled to take place on March 22, 2022, and will last for four consecutive days. According to Dr. Awad Al Karadsha, Secretary General of the Authority, this meeting is part of a series of meetings held by the Authority with electoral process partners, including volunteers in constituencies and in the kingdom's regions, in light of the commission's preparations for the upcoming elections. During the opening of the first sessions of these meetings, Karadsha added that the participation of volunteers in the electoral process is an opportunity for young people to participate in political life in general and elections in particular, which promotes the process of political reform. He also showed some of the challenges faced by the volunteer team in the previous elections and that the Commission is seeking to work to overcome them and overcome them. During the meeting, the organizational structure, work stages and time periods governing the work of volunteers were reviewed, as well as the mechanism of communication and communication between volunteers, coordinators, and election committees.
