The Independent for Election: Expiration of the Objection Period in the Primary Voters’ Lists

Today, Saturday, 25/12/2021, the Independent Commission for Elections announced the end of the period for objection to third parties in the primary voter lists for the provincial and municipal council elections.
According to the law of the right of each voter named in the initial tables for voters to object in writing to the Commission through the Chairman of the Election Commission to register other in the primary tables of voters within the municipality area / constituency, within a period not exceeding seven days from the day following the date the initial tables of voters, In accordance with the conditions set out in the executive instructions for preparing the voters’ lists for the elections
The governorate councils, the municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality, attached its objection to the documents and data that support and prove the validity of his request.
The Commission shall also decide on the objections submitted to it within ten days from the day following the expiry date of the preliminary table’s presentation period.
The Independent Commission for the election had been presented to her at the locations of polling stations voters’ primary elections of provincial councils and municipal councils and the Amman Municipality, based on the provisions of Article 36 of the Law on Local Administration No. 22 of 0.2021 and Article 6 of the Law of Amman Municipality, No. 18 for the year 2021, when the number of requests to object to third parties reached (1282).
