The Independent Election is organizing a moot court contest

The Independent Commission for Elections, in cooperation with the Jordanian Judicial Council, organized a moot court competition, with the participation of (90) male and female students from law faculties, representing (15) a university, a university, a university, and a university.
According to the Commission, this competition which has been held in the Jordanian Judicial Institute, comes within the framework of dissemination of legal awareness and establishing openness to partners and to inform students of law faculties in Jordanian universities on the laws and regulations governing the electoral process and guarantees of integrity followed by the Commission.
She added that this competition is an opportunity to introduce students to appeals election for provincial elections and municipal councils and the Secretariat of the Council of Oman and scheduled 0.2022 in addition to the definition of the crime of buying votes in the Jordanian law, in terms of the bases and legal consequences of the commission, through the holding of proceedings before a judicial body formed to this end.
In the end, prizes and shields were distributed to the winners. The results were as follows:
1 The University of the Middle East won first place
2 Al-Isra University won second place
The award for the best performer in the competition and the award for the best performer in the final match were won by the student Israa Khater from the Middle East University.
