The Independent Election launches a series of awareness videos

The Independent Commission for Elections launched a series of awareness videos on the governorate, municipal, and Amman municipal council elections.
According to Sharaf al-Din Abu Rumman, director of communications, media and public awareness and education, these videos include the definition of the local administration laws and the Amman Municipality where it can be accessed through the Commission  website and independent page body for the election and the channel for the Commission through (YouTube) and the means of visual media wishing to broadcast, (for the videos).
These videos aim to introduce the governorate councils, the municipal councils, the Amman Municipality, their roles, candidacy conditions, the electoral mechanism, and inquire about the electoral district when elections are discovered.
Abu Rumman added that the launch of these videos is part of a full awareness campaign launched by a private body elections scheduled for 22/03/2022 campaign includes sessions of dialogue with all partners from civil society organizations at the provincial level through the application of Zoom boards columns and fields and brochures awareness include the definition of the laws and procedures of the Commission With the aim of increasing citizens' awareness of participating in the political process in general and elections in particular, exercising their civil rights, enhancing their confidence in the electoral process, and increasing communication with them.
