Independent Elections 22: Next March is the date for polling for governorate councils, municipal councils, and the Amman Municipality Council

The Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission decided to consider Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the date for polling and counting for the elections of governorate councils, municipal councils, and a secretariat council.
This announcement is based on the provisions of Article (35) / Paragraph (A) 1 and Paragraph (A / 2 of Local Administration Law No. (22) for the year (2021) and Article / 6 (c) of Amman Municipality Law No. 158 of 128
According to Jihad El-Momni, the commission's media spokesperson, the determination of this date for the poll comes after reviewing the legal terms of the electoral process, stressing at the same time the electoral readiness and the electoral commission.
