The Independent Elections Commission launched a project to assess polling and counting centers

In the light of the preparations for the election of the Independent Commission for the holding of municipal elections and provincial councils and the Council of Amman Municipality, the Commission has launched a project to assess the polling stations and sorting through the study of the reality of the schools used for this purpose in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom.

According to the commission's media spokesperson, Jihad El-Momani, the field assessment project for polling and counting centers aims to ensure the readiness of these schools to be accredited as polling and tele-scanners.

He added that the launch of this project will result in statistical reports showing the classification of those schools in terms of their adequacy, indicating the actual needs, and working to provide them through coordination with the authorities.

Al-Momani explained that these criteria are included in a checklist for the participating teams to use in the survey process to assess the center's internal and external environment, in addition to the cultural report.

It is worth noting that it is expected that the evaluation of these centers will be completed by the end of the current month, as the teams participating in the field survey will work on analyzing data about (1500) operational and organizational functions.
