The Independent Election is organizing a “moot trial” contest

The Independent Electoral Commission, in cooperation with the Judicial Council, is organizing a mock trial contest, with the participation of (17) public and private universities in Jordan, where the number of participating students reached (120).
 
The aim of this competition held by the Commission for the second time in a row to spread awareness among the youth, especially students of law faculties at the universities of Jordan about the appeals and electoral crimes electoral and the accompanying electoral process excesses and also explain their integrity actions taken by the Commission during the process of electoral and that under special laws by, where the competition held in accordance with the Law of local administration No. (22) of 0.2021 and in order to acquaint students with participants terms of the competition and the opening of joint cooperation with the participating universities, the independent Commission for the election to hold a series of field visits and confirmed its support for any proposal offered by universities in order to supplement the students with knowledge Raising the level of awareness
their elective.
 
Last year, the Independent Commission for Elections organized a mock trial competition in which (15) public and private universities participated, and with the participation of (95) male and female students.
