The Independent Election Commission supports the Jubilee Institute in the Student Parliament elections
The Independent Election Commission extended its full support to the Jubilee Institute in the elections for the Administrative Board of the Student Parliament at the Institute.
The Director of Operations at the Independent Election Commission, Nasser Habashneh, confirmed that the commission has trained the Jubilee Institute election committees on the procedures of the electoral process in all its stages, from organizing electoral tables, campaigning, calculating results, preparing and printing minutes and counting boards, and printing ballot booklets.
He also indicated that the Commission has taken all logistical measures that are compatible with the Corona virus pandemic when voting, such as mandatory distancing and wearing a mask and gloves.
It is noteworthy that the open proportional list system was adopted in the Jubilee Institute elections, and the training process was supervised by the technical team in the operations directorate of the Independent Election Commission. The team members are Dr. Issa Al-Tarawneh / Head of Capacity Building and Training Department, Ziad Al Shukri / Training Specialist, and Muhammad Abu Jamous / Training Coordinator.
