Al-Rifai Meets Al-Kalaldah and the Independent Election Board of Commissioners

Samir Al-Rifai, head of the Royal Committee for the Development of the Political System, met with Dr. Khaled Al-Kalaldeh, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, and members of the Board of Commissioners, at the commission's headquarters.
Al-Rifai explained that this visit comes within the framework of confirming that the Independent Election Commission has become the first house of expertise in Jordan in procedures and issues related to the electoral process, stressing the committee's keenness to benefit from these experiences and use them to develop legislation regulating political life in general.
For his part, Kalaldeh confirmed that the Independent Election Commission will be keen to present its expertise to the Royal Commission for the development of the Political System in its functional capacity, in addition to its role in managing and supervising elections following the provisions of the Constitution, and that the Commission has transferred its knowledge and experience to all those who sought to do so, explaining that the Commission has many observations about Procedural issues in the laws regulating political life and that it will place them in the hands of the Royal Committee for the Development of Political Life.
Al-Kalaldeh presented Al-Rifai with several references, literature, and research issued by the Commission, that serve any legislation in this field, stressing the Commission's openness to the Committee and its keenness on its success in its national mission, to develop the Political System.
