Al-Karadsheh is sworn in before the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission.

Dr. Awad Al-Karadsheh was sworn in before the Chairman and members of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Commission for Election as Secretary-General of the Commission, in compliance with the provisions of Article 9 of the Commission's Law.

Al-Karadsheh got his PhD in political sciences; he worked in the Ministry of the Interior, and as a general coordinator of the electoral processes for the parliamentary elections in 2016, and the director of electoral operations in the Independent Electoral Commission for the municipal elections and governorates councils in 2017. The royal decree and will was issued by the appointment of Al-Karadsheh as Secretary General of the Independent Electoral Commission on 7/11/2017.
