Al-Kalaldeh: start of the transfer of the employees' entitlements to the banks.

The head of the Independent Electoral Commission Khalid al-Kalaldeh said that the Authority began on Tuesday morning to transfer all the entitlements of workers in the election committees to banks, to be deposited and then added to their accounts.

Al-Kalaldeh stressed that the process of disbursement of receivables has not been subject to any delay as they have been audited in accordance with the rules, noting that the disbursement of any amount of money to this extent requires formal procedures and correspondence by the Commission.

The Chairman of the Independent Commission praised the cooperation of the Government and the Ministry of Finance in expediting transactions. He thanked all employees of the election committees for their efforts in making the electoral process a success, stressing the keenness to evaluate the special training with view to better performance in future elections.

It is noteworthy that the number of employees participating in the last electoral process has reached 54 thousand workers divided between the election committees and the polling, counting and support committees.
