Haj Hasan: Elections are a National Mission

Samar Haj Hasan, member of the IEC Board of Commissioners, emphasized that elections are a national mission and are the responsibility of institutions and bodies concerned with the success of the electoral process. This came during the opening of the training of the leadership and conflict resolution for the electoral process partners which aims at increasing the cognitive capacities of political parties.

She clarified that this training is part of a series of meetings held by the Commission in continuation of the participatory approach and openness to the partners to improve the electoral process in all its phases.

Haj Hasan pointed out that this four-day training will deal with several aspects related to leadership and conflict management skills for the electoral process partners, negotiation and dispute strategies, and the mediation for the electoral process partners and the regional and international legal agreements.
