IEC Resumes Training the Third Batch of Afghan Delegation

IEC has resumed the specialized training workshops of the third batch of the Afghan delegation of the Independent Election Committee, which will last for seven days.

Dr. Awad AL-Karadsheh, IEC Secretary-General, emphasized that the launch of this workshop comes within the framework of the openness of the Commission to the various electoral administrations in order to gain knowledge and exchange experience; especially in the areas of electoral process management, awareness and education, as the Commission seeks to institutionalize the training process and take all measures to provide an appropriate training environment.

Karadsheh pointed out the importance of the training workshop aspects that enable the Afghan delegation to obtain the necessary and basic knowledge in terms of the electoral process. He explained that these training workshops held by the Commission, in cooperation with national and international partners, contribute to the development of its work and continuous success, especially with the establishment of a regional institute specialized in training for electoral processes.

He also called for enhancing coordination and cooperation in the future in a way that serves the electoral process in all its stages.
