IEC Implements Comprehensive Program to Assess Trainers on Electoral Process Procedures

IEC has started the implementation of a comprehensive program to assess trainers on the electoral process procedures in all its phases, within the database, in order to prepare and equip cadres working in elections and develop their technical capabilities.

According to Momani, the program has been prepared to measure the technical skills and capabilities of each trainer in transferring the knowledge of electoral process procedures to all voting and counting committees participating in the electoral process through using modern training methods.

Momani also highlighted the importance of focusing on the development of trainers’ skills using actual simulation of the procedures inside the training rooms, within a tight electoral environment and the delivery of the training material to all participants using modern means of communication to save time and money.

It is worth mentioning that these training workshops will last for three months with the participation of employees from the public sector, civil society institutions and retirees who have previously worked with the Commission. The program targets more than (253) participants.
