Al-Kalaldeh: Electoral Awareness Starts from School

Dr. Khaled Al-Kalaldeh, IEC Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, stressed that electoral awareness starts from school as it has the ability to provide an environment helps to excel in this field through a structured educational process to which students are subjected during their study. 

This came during the opening of civic education and awareness workshop for public and private schools, help in cooperation with the National Democratic Institute. 

He emphasized giving the youth the opportunity to participate in the electoral process in all its phases and support them to take part in the political reform.  

The program of this workshop, help for one day, aims at presenting the importance of participation in political life in general and elections in particular, as well as enabling citizens to understand their rights and duties, and creating a generation able to understand the democratic process and qualified to practice it in the future.
