Maaytah meets the supervisory committees of the elections of the Chambers of Commerce in the Central Region

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, Eng. Musa Al-Maaytah, stressed that holding free and fair elections is a national interest, and that this will only be achieved through the efforts of partners and workers with the Commission.

This came during a meeting with the heads of the committees supervising the elections of chambers of commerce and representatives of the commercial sectors in the central region, in thepresence of members of the Board of Commissioners, and the Director of Electoral Operations in the authority.

Al-Maaytah also stressed the need to build the capacity of election workers, review the procedures governing the electoral process, and follow the guarantees of  integrity and transparency, explaining that the selection of election supervisory committees in the field came in accordance with the criteria of merit, competence and previous experience in the elections. 

Al-Maaytah and the members of the Board of Commissioners listened to the remarks and inquiries of the heads of the election supervisory committees, participating in the meeting.
