Independent for Election: No amendment to the preliminary tables of the industrial and trade elections will be accepted after 27/07/2022

The media spokesman of the Independent Electoral Commission Mohammed Khair Al-Rawashdah confirmed that the Commission will not adopt any amendment to the preliminary schedules of the elections of the boards of directors of the chambers of industry and the elections of representatives of the industrial sectors, the boards of directors of the chambers of commerce and representatives of the commercial sectors after the date of 27/7/2022, whether it is by modifying the capital, changing the sector or listing industrial and commercial institutions after this date.
Al-Rawashdah explained that the Authority had asked the Chambers of Industry and Commerce to provide the Authority with hard copies and electronic copies that include preliminary tables of the names of institutions registered in the Chambers of Industry and Commerce by the tenth of August this year, provided that they include the names of institutions paid and not paid for the affiliation fees before 28/7/2022 based on the system of chambers of industry and the system of chambers of commerce.
The Board of Commissioners of the Authority has set Saturday, 29/10/2022 as the date of voting for the elections of the boards of directors of the chambers of industry and the elections of representatives of the industrial sectors, and Saturday, 3/12/2022, as the date of voting for the elections of the boards of directors of the chambers of commerce and representatives of the commercial sectors.
