Maayta sponsors the conclusion of the activities of the political camp to simulate the formation of political parties

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission, Eng. Moussa Maayta, sponsored the conclusion of the activities of the political camp to simulate the formation of political parties, which was organized by the National Democratic Institute in cooperation with the Independent Electoral Commission and lasted for five consecutive days.
During his speech at the closing ceremony in the presence of a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan, Al-Maayta stressed the importance of holding this political camp, and the pride of the Independent Electoral Commission in cooperation and partnership with the National Democratic Institute, which aims to support the process of political reform and translate the visions of His Majesty the King by working to implement the outputs of the Royal Commission for the Modernization of the Political System.
Al-Maayta also focused on raising awareness in the laws of parties and elections, especially with regard to party work and the preparation of training programs related to building the capacity of institutional, administrative, and programmatic parties.

He added that the Commission is working with its partners side by side in the field of political awareness, down to all segments of society, to encourage them to engage in parties and participate in elections, pointing out that the Commission launched a few days ago and in cooperation with the Crown Prince Foundation the first youth forum "I Share", which aims to integrate Jordanian youth in universities in dialogue and public work, and create a dialogue space between young people at the level of educational institutions in the governorates and the entire country, which promotes political participation, a culture of diversity and respect for The other and the enhancement of youth capacities.
 
The camp dealt with many axes that promote political participation in general and parties in particular, which centered on training on the mechanism of forming parties and building party programs, training in negotiation, building alliances and preparing political campaigns, and the mechanism of preparing a party statement.
