Dabana: Youth participation is the basis of the success of the elections 

March 12, 2022  On Saturday, the All-Jordan Youth Committee in Balqa organized a dialogue seminar in cooperation with the Independent Electoral Commission on the participation of young people in the elections for provincial and municipal councils and the Amman Secretariat. Dr. Abir Dabana, a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Electoral Commission, addressed the laws governing the elections and the commission's preparations to ensure that the election process proceeds easily and easily in accordance with the health and safety standards used to prevent the spread of THE CORONA virus, as well as the discussion on the role of the Independent Electoral Commission in the face of electoral irregularities in general and the use of corrupt money in the elections, where Dabana confirmed the follow-up of the Authority to all cases it receives.  She stressed the importance of young people's participation in elections and their involvement in political life in general, thereby promoting political reform. She added that participating in the elections is a national duty, calling on citizens to choose those they believe are highly qualified to represent them. Abdul Rahim al-Zouhara, director general of the All-Jordan Youth Authority, called on young people to participate in the electoral process, noting that there is no option to develop and promote development except through the ballot boxes and to choose who represents us.
