Independent Election: March 12 is the deadline for receiving applications for accreditation of journalists and media 

March 09, 2022  The Independent Electoral Commission announced that the deadline for receiving applications for accreditation of journalists and media professionals wishing to cover the elections of provincial councils, municipal councils and the Amman Secretariat Council is on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The Authority invited all journalists, media professionals and employees of the local and international visual, audio and reading media organizations wishing to cover, which meet the requirements of executive instructions No. 6 of 2021, issued on the basis of the Local Administration Act and the Amman Secretariat Act 2021. According to the Independent Electoral Commission, the number of media organizations submitted so far for accreditation (73) institutions, while the number of journalists and media (935) media and journalists, where the Authority announced the start of receiving applications for accreditation of journalists to cover the electoral process on 7/12/2021.
