Events of the 15th International Electoral Affairs Symposium Kick off

The Independent Election Commission (IEC) will launch, the day after tomorrow; Monday, events of the 15th International Electoral Affairs Symposium under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King of Jordan. 60 organizations concerned with democracy, 25 participants representing organizations, parliaments and governments, in addition to 50 electoral commissions representing 55 Arab and foreign countries will take part in the Symposium, which will be held in collaboration with the International Center for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS) and the European Center for Electoral Support (ECES).

The Symposium aims to help democratic communities and electoral commissions both worldwide and at the level of the Middle East share their experiences, in a manner which contributes to improving the electoral process in its entirety. The participating delegations will make in-depth presentations on the experiences of the countries they represent as well as the commissions and organizations concerned with the management of electoral process.

On the sidelines of the Symposium which is going to last up to the 5th day of the current month, several workshops and sessions will be held, where experts and professionals in the electoral field will deliver speeches
