The Independent for Elections: Scholarships for party members to obtain a diploma in electoral politics
Amman, August 26 (Petra)– The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, Dr. Khaled Al-Kalaldeh, announced today, Thursday, the availability of scholarships to obtain an exam, diploma, and examinations. In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), he said that the Commission has made strenuous efforts to create the appropriate conditions for the development of the study program, which is the first of its kind in the Arab region, in cooperation with Prince Hussein College for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Jordan. Dr. Al-Kalaldeh said that the commission was keen to allocate specific scholarships to study the program, whose academic schedule extends throughout the year for those affiliated with political parties, in support of the party and campaign work.
He stressed that the grants will be open to competition within the determinants and certain standards, to the employees of the parties, and will each party on one grant go to the owner of the highest degree obtained by one of the applicants through the party, so dedicated to the principle of equal opportunity for admission to the program is expected to attract students from several Arab countries.
And he indicated that the program includes theoretical and practical courses in the academic year 2021/2022, and the admission of students into the program will be in accordance with certain standards and conditions, subject to procedures, along with its regulations.
