Independent Election: There is no validity of publications attributed to the Independent Electoral Commission claiming re-election

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) said it had monitored fabricated posts attributed to the commission's social media pages claiming re-election in specific constituencies.  The Authority asserts that these publications are not correct or published; The Authority confirmed that it would refer fabricated publications to the Cybercrime Unit to verify its source and take the legal action accordingly.
